Exploring the Characteristics of Spatial Vitality Changes in Parks within Shanghai's Outer Ring Road Based on Big Data
Researchers are studying how to improve urban parks to address health issues caused by urbanization. This study uses big data to understand park vitality in Shanghai's Third Ring Road area and its factors. The results show: The vitality values of urban parks within the third ring road of Shanghai decrease from the inner to the outer rings. The highest and lowest values are at 5 p.m. and 6 a.m., respectively, and weekdays are generally higher than rest days. Specialized parks, park perimeter, and distance to the city center are negatively correlated with park vitality. Bus stop, road, building, and POI density are positively correlated with park vitality.
