Promising Methods for Post-processing of BIA Estimates and Their Combined Use with Other Diagnostic Tests
Abstract A type of two-dimensional centile result sheet and a four-step algorithm for their evaluation have been proposed. Based on over one million patient examinations, these result sheets rely on two-dimensional centile values for body composition, with additional diagnostic methods calculated for male and female subpopulations at two- or five-year age intervals. The algorithm we have developed for processing BIA data and supplementary non-impedance parameters enables convenient visual estimates and can be easily automated.
