Insurance Risk Factors Based on New Energy Vehicle Monitoring Big Data
In recent years, new energy vehicle (NEV) industry in China has developed rapidly, but NEV insurance is facing the challenge of losses. The performance of power battery is an important factor affecting the safe operation of NEVs. Based on the monitoring big data of NEVs and utilizing the stability of charging data, state of healthy (SOH) calculation model, cell voltage consistency analysis model and module temperature consistency analysis model were established. Using the above power battery parameters, NEV insurance risk factor assessment model was established. The model in this work was tested using a ride hailing vehicle operating in Tianjin, and the test results showed that the risk factors relating to SOH, voltage consistency and temperature consistency were all at a high level, indicating a low probability of risk for the vehicle. The results can be used as a reference for insurance companies underwriting.
