Integrating Computer Vision with Embedded Intelligent Agents
In the current technological landscape, we are transitioning to alifestyle shaped and supported by advanced artificial intelligencesystems. In this context, there is a growing tendency to decentralizesuch systems, moving them to the edge, and placing more responsibilityon the devices that compose these systems. The field of Multi-Agent Systems offers a powerful paradigm for distributed artificialintelligence, where intelligent agents can incorporate a variety of AItechniques to make autonomous decisions. In this work, we proposean approach for implementing embedded autonomous intelligentagents. We propose an architecture to implement autonomous intelligentagents embedded in simple microcontrollers, and as a casestudy, we describe the integration of computer vision, in whichagents are capable of extracting information from computer visioncomponents and utilizing this data in their decision-makingprocesses.
