This paper employs data analysis methods to comprehensively examine the main factors influencing college graduates in Heyuan to pursue entrepreneurship upon returning to their hometowns. Based on the research findings, four optimization strategies are proposed to further support and drive hometown-based entrepreneurship among college graduates, contributing to the success of the "Hundreds and Thousands" Project. These strategies include: enhancing entrepreneurship education and support policies in undergraduate institutions, expanding diverse funding channels, improving market information and technical talent service systems, and adjusting and strengthening entrepreneurial support policies.
