Study on Ballistic Group Target Tracking Method
In order to estimate the number and the position of the unresolved individuals within the ballistic group, a new tracking method based on Random Finite Set (RFS) is proposed in this paper, and the Gaussian mixture probability hypothesis density (GM-PHD) filter is combined with the ballistic target dynamic equation to estimate the position and number of individual targets within the group. The feasibility and effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper are verified by simulation analysis. Simulation results show that the proposed method can not only provide more reliable data for state estimation and trajectory prediction, but also effectively estimate the number and position of individuals within the ballistic group targets.
