Butter in the personalized nutrition of university students engaged in SAMBO: sports, valeological and economic aspects

The article discusses the nutrition problems of students engaged in SAMBO wrestling. The authors estimated the energy consumption of university students with an unsportsmanlike profile who achieved an average level of results (2nd class) as the most typical for this category of athletes. The relevance of such an assessment is due to the fact that specialized literature and specialized scientific research provide data for high-level athletes – masters of sports and candidates for masters. Based on the calculated energy consumption, the required energy value of the athletes’ daily diet and its composition in terms of proteins, fats and carbohydrates were determined. The amounts of butter in the diet of boys and girls are calculated based on methodological recommendations for specialized nutrition of wrestlers. It was found that the portions of oil needed to compensate for energy consumption significantly exceed the rational consumption standards recommended by the Russian Ministry of Health. To assess the potential health risks of athletes, an analysis of per capita consumption of butter and longevity indicators in 182 countries was conducted. It has been found that the average life expectancy does not decrease with increasing oil consumption. Thus, butter in the diet of SAMBO wrestlers is an affordable component that makes it possible to increase athletic performance without creating health risks.
