Explorando Padrões de Captura e Comprimento do Tubarão azul (Prionace glauca) por meio da Visualização de Dados no Sudoeste do Oceano Atlântico

The present study developed a dashboard to analyze the patterns ofthe spatial and temporal distribution of catches and lengths ofmarine species, with a particular focus on the blue shark (Prionaceglauca), in the southwestern Atlantic Ocean, a region consideredcritical for the species due to the presence of parturition areas andjuvenile nursery grounds. The data were collected from commercialpelagic longline fisheries between 2017 and 2024, through onboardmonitoring and landing records. Additionally, biometric data forblue sharks were obtained during field expeditions conducted byUNIVALI/LEMA professionals or provided by companies duringtheir site visits. The results of this study are presented in real timethrough a dashboard, offering an interactive platform to explore andvisualize dynamic graphs of blue shark.
