Dispositivos portáteis para medição dos níveis de açúcar em bebidas: uma revisão sistemática da literatura
Knowing the levels of sugar ingested in foods and beverages isessential for health, given its relationship with various diseasessuch as obesity and diabetes, among others. Using portable devicesfor measuring sugar in beverages aims to raise awareness and alertpeople about excessive sugar consumption. This work presentsa systematic literature review (SLR) conducted using the PICOmethodology and managed with the Parsifal tool to identify newmethods and portable devices for measuring sugar in beveragescommonly consumed by the population. Seven papers were selectedfor a more in-depth analysis, showing that the most commonly usedtechniques for this application are electrochemical techniques usingimmersion electrodes and non-visible light through Near-InfraredSpectroscopy. Only one study briefly addressed using the Internetof Medical Things to share results. The study aims to present thecurrent academic scenario by mapping technologies and openingnew research possibilities.
