The Adequa 2.0 system is a tool designed to assist in the processof verifying software products to ensure compliance with Brazil’sGeneral Data Protection Law (LGPD). With the growing need forsystems to adapt to data protection regulations, the system wasdeveloped to offer a solution for organizations seeking to adapt theirprocesses and software systems to legal requirements. This articledescribes the development steps of Adequa 2.0, from requirementsgathering and system architecture to modeling and prototyping,emphasizing the use of UML techniques and prototyping tools toensure a functional design suited to user needs. The third phase ofthe project, involving software development, is ongoing as planned.With an interface that aims to be intuitive, the system aims toassist in compliance with the LGPD and raise awareness about theimportance of data protection.
