The article proposed by the authors contains data on the economic situation of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War and, in addition, illustrations from graphic sheets created by our poster artists, where Soviet peasants look at us from posters. These works vividly reflect the life of the country of that period — the heroic feat of people in towns and villages, convey the spirit of the era, its intense rhythm. The purpose of the proposed article is to present the poster as one of the types of creative activity of the artist, reflecting the way of life of a person in a certain historical period of time, as well as connections with various artistic movements.
