Analysis of lubrication and transmission efficiency of cycloidal reducer considering the effect of temperature
The mating pair with needle teeth and cycloid gears as the main components is the core mechanism of the cycloid planetary transmission system to achieve motion and power conversion. In the transmission process friction and other heat generated may lead to thermal deformation of the mesh vice or even the formation of thermal adhesion at the mesh, the rise in temperature will have a certain impact on the mesh deformation and stress of cycloid pinion mesh vice, which will affect the lubrication condition of the cycloid transmission system and transmission efficiency. Therefore, this paper will analyse the meshing characteristics of the cycloid needle tooth mating pair and its equivalent force under different temperature conditions, and discuss how the temperature affects its lubrication characteristics and meshing efficiency.
