Design of an intelligent car with PID speed control
To address the issue of unstable driving speed during the tracing and obstacle avoidance processes of intelligent cars, this paper designs an intelligent car control system based on PID speed control to achieve precise position control and stable speed regulation. The main control chip of this intelligent car uses the STM32F103RBT6 single-chip microcontroller as the central processor, and the peripheral circuit modules include the motor drive module, PID speed control module, tracing module, and obstacle avoidance module. This design uses a Hall sensor to measure the real-time motor speed, compares it with the set speed, and sends the comparison result to the PID controller. After PID calculation, the output PWM control signal is sent to the motor drive circuit to adjust the motor speed, thereby adjusting the running speed of the intelligent car.
