Deformation simulation of lightning protection insulator structure under unbalanced insulation configuration
In order to analyze the stress performance of lightning protection insulator structures, this paper studied the stress deformation simulation of lightning protection insulators under unbalanced insulation configuration. The lightning protection insulator structures (samples 2 and 3) were compared with ordinary insulator structures (samples 1 and 4) through tensile load, wind deflection, and flutter tests. The results showed that samples 2 and 3 were undamaged under a tensile load of 100kN, which was superior to the ordinary sample; In the wind deflection and flutter tests, the stress distribution and deformation of lightning protection insulator sample 2 were significantly affected by wind direction and flutter amplitude, indicating that these factors are key to evaluating the structural performance of lightning protection insulators.
