Applying Controlled Mud Level to Open Hole Gravel Pack

Summary Controlled Mud Level (CML) is a Managed Pressure Drilling method now used for Open Hole Gravel Pack (OHGP). This presentation will explain the concept of CML and use two case studies from the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico respectively to illustrate how it has been used when conducting OHGP jobs. The results are complete gravel packing across the screens without losses and subsequently improved production rate.
