Automated coupled architecture for thermal transfer simulation in battery system

Battery temperature is a key factor affecting its performance. Through thermal transfer simulation research, the temperature distribution of the battery under different working conditions can be accurately predicted, so as to optimize the temperature control strategy. In this paper, we present an automated coupled architecture for thermal transfer simulation in battery system. Firstly, we construct the core modules for preprocessing, numerical solution and post-processing stages of thermal transfer simulation, based on the discrete event system specification (DEVS). The basic modeling unit of the system is an agent designed based on the DE+FSM+CT architecture. Next, these core modules are automatically coupled, based on the event trigger mechanism of the agent system. We perform thermal simulation experiments in battery system. Experiment process shows the convenience of the proposed automated coupled simulation architecture.
