Research on Temperature Analysis Method and Coupling Stress of High - temperature Globe Valve Stem Assembly

Setting a cooling water sleeve in the stem of a high-temperature globe valve is an effective way to ensure that it meets the usage requirements. In order to ensure the strength and stiffness of the valve stem and reduce the heat loss of airflow, by controlling the temperature of the outer wall of the valve stem and the temperature difference between the inner and outer walls of the valve stem, a calculation method for the convective heat transfer coefficient between the valve stem and hot air and cooling water is established. The finite element simulation method is used to determine the flow rate of the cooling water for the valve stem. This method can be applied to the design of valve stems of high-temperature and high-pressure globe valves with media such as air, temperatures greater than 800 °C, and pressures greater than 10 MPa.
