Research on building fire visualization based on virtual reality
With the rapid development of virtual reality technology, fire training systems based on virtual reality have gained widespread adoption. To create more realistic and scientifically accurate fire scenarios that provide users with an immersive experience, a visualization method for fire and smoke has been proposed based on grid data derived from fire numerical simulation software. Addressing the challenge posed by the substantial amount of grid data in large-scale fire scenes, a base state with amendment model is employed to enhance the efficiency of data update. Ultimately, an indoor fire scene is reconstructed using the proposed method. Compared with dedicated visualization software, the results demonstrate a high degree of consistency and the base state with amendment model effectively improves the rendering efficiency. Providing a feasible method for developing a virtual reality fire training system、rendering real and scientific fire scenes and evaluating experimental data.
