Study on Predictive Method for Time-Dependent Elastic Modulus of Early-Age Concrete in Continuous Rigid-Frame Bridges
The modulus of elasticity of concrete, an important material in bridge structures, has a significant effect on the overall stiffness and deformation characteristics of the bridge. This factor is essential to ensure rapid construction, safety, and durability. This paper investigates the compressive strength and elastic modulus of C60 concrete at various ages (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, and 28 days) and develops a predictive model for early time-varying behavior. By redefining the time- varying characteristics of concrete within the finite element model of the entire bridge and adjusting critical parameters of the bridge structure, this study provides an in-depth analysis of the early modulus of concrete. The optimization of bridge simulation parameters yields more reliable theoretical data for bridge alignment control, thereby enhancing the accuracy of guidance in bridge construction.
