Cost Analysis of Power Transmission and Transformation Projects Based on the Whole Life Cycle Theory
This article analyzes the cost of power transmission and transformation projects based on the theory of the entire lifecycle. A cost model for the retirement and scrapping stages of a project has been developed, and a calculation model for the optimal retirement period of transformers has been proposed, taking into account both economic benefits and physical lifespan. Through case analysis, it has been determined that the economic retirement life of the transformer is 36 years and the physical life is 45.4 years. It is recommended that the total life cycle of the substation project be 30 years. The research provides a theoretical basis for cost control and project planning in the power industry.
