The Relationship between International Inbound Tourism Income and CO2 Emissions: Based on ARDL-ECM Approach
This paper establishes an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model and use bond test to analyze the relationship between International Inbound Tourism Income and CO2 emissions. Based on the evidence data from 1995 to 2018, the paper derived three results. First, International Inbound Tourism and CO2 emissions have cointegration. Second, the long trip income and catering service income of international inbound tourism have positive effects on CO2 emissions in long-run. Third, long trip income and catering service income of international inbound tourism would dynamically fluctuate CO2 emissions in short run.
