Implementation and Verification of a Parallel‐Plate‐Waveguide‐Based Transmissivity/Reflectivity Measurement System at 1–2 GHz
ABSTRACT In this study, the reflectivity and transmissivity measurement methods are reviewed and a parallel‐plate‐waveguide (PPW)‐based measurement system operated at 1–2 GHz is designed, implemented, and verified. The proposed method has remarkable advantages of easy installation, compact configuration, low cost, simple process, and high accuracy which demonstrates the sophistication in measuring the reflectivity and transmissivity and can be a guide of the electromagnetic parameter measurement at lower frequencies.
