Influence of Financial Management, Understanding of Technology, and the Role of Government on the Performance of MSMEs in Solo City

Research Aims: The purpose of this research is to ascertain the impact of financial management, understanding of technology, and the role of government on the performance of MSMEs. Design/methodology/approach: The study methodology employed is to use a quantitative research approach. The quantity of samples used in this research amounted to 125 respondents of culinary MSMEs in Solo City, by using the purposive sampling method and data collection techniques using a questionnaire tool. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Squares - Structure Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) supported by the SmartPLS 3.0 program. Research Findings: The findings indicated that the financial management variable significantly improved MSMEs' performance, followed by the technological understanding variable and, lastly, the government role variable, which also significantly improved MSMEs' performance in Solo City. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study contributes to how the influence of financial management variables, understanding of technology, and the role of government on the performance of MSMEs in Solo City and becomes the basis for further research.
