Morpholine Anchored Fluorogenic Toolkit: Unveiled Disease Allied Protein Fibrillation in Lysosomal Compartment of Live‐Cell and Drosophila Models (Small 21/2025)
Neurodegenerative Diseases Protein aggregation is a hallmark of neurodegenerative diseases. Far-red emissive SC-4mor selectively detects protein aggregates in lysosomes of live cells and Drosophila models (neurodegenerative and non-neurodegenerative disease models). Ability of SC-4mor to cross the blood-brain barrier in mice model highlights its potential for investigating the pathogenesis and progression of protein aggregation-related diseases in the near future.
