New species and new records of the genus Hyalesthes Signoret, 1865 from the Western Palaearctic Region (Hemiptera: Cixiidae: Pentastirinae)

Two new species of the genus Hyalesthes Signoret, 1865 (Auchenorrhyncha: Fulgoromorpha: Cixiidae: Pentastirinae: Pentastirini) are described: Hyalesthes (Hyalesthes) szekelyi Orosz et Schlitt, sp. nov. from Syria and Hyalesthes (Homalesthes) podlussanyi Orosz et Schlitt, sp. nov. from North Macedonia. Additionally, Hyalesthes (Hyalesthes) hani Hoch, 1986 and Hyalesthes (Hyalesthes) thracicus Hoch, 1986 are reported for the first time from Syria. Previous records of Hyalesthes (Homalesthes) scotti Ferrari, 1882 from Hungary were based on misidentifications, therefore the species is excluded from the list of the Hungarian fauna.
