A Survey on Women Welfare schemes in India to achieve Sustainable Development
Half of the global population consists of women, who are indispensable to cultural, commercial, and ecological progress. Consequently, a world that is civilized, affluent, and sustainable must be built on the pillars of gender equality and women's empowerment. In order to recognize the pledges of sustainability, social harmony, and human development each of the 17 goals must be achieved. For this purpose, achieving gender parity and women’s empowerment is essential. Both as a component and as a tool of progress, gender equality is desirable. A nation cannot be considered sustainable if more than half of its citizens are ineligible for basic necessities, employment or educational opportunities, and political representation. This research addresses the government policies that helped to achieve sustainable development goals associated with women's welfare which are recognized as being essential to inclusive growth strategies resulting in a state or nation's overall economic success.
