Dynamic modeling analysis of gearbox with flexible shaft
As an important part of automobile powertrain, gearbox plays an important role in giving full play to the performance of the whole vehicle. The gearbox expands the range of driving torque and rotating speed of automobile, and has many functions, such as speed change, torque change, reversing, power transmission interruption and so on. The quality of gearbox directly affects the power, safety and comfort of the car. Therefore, the design and optimization of gearbox has become an important topic, and the dynamic modeling of gearbox is an important part of the whole research process. Rigid shaft is often used in traditional gearbox modeling, but when dealing with high-speed, heavy-duty or high-precision application scenarios, it ignores the influence of the elastic deformation of the shaft on the dynamic characteristics of the system, which leads to the result being inconsistent with the actual working conditions. Therefore, this paper will use the reduced-order method to build a flexible shaft model, and use the flexible shaft to replace the rigid shaft for gearbox modeling and simulation. By comparing the differences in frequency between the two methods, the advantages and necessity of flexible shaft in gearbox modeling are analyzed.
