An experimental platform for aircraft to explore the thrust performance parameters generated by the Biefeld-Brown effect
A multi-level Biefeld-Brown effect power device experiment platform was designed and built to study the effect of the distance between multiple asymmetric electrodes on the thrust performance of the experimental device. The device is mainly composed of a pair of large (aluminum foil plate), small electrode (copper wire) and a programmable control pulley mechanism with a central bearing force. Different from the common hand-modulated unipolar asymmetric electrode experimental device, the continuous adjustable mechanism is used to automatically and smoothly adjust the multistage pole spacing during the application of high voltage, and the thrust and current of the device which change with the distance are collected in real time. Therefore, the experimental process does not need to pause the application of high voltage to manually adjust the distance of the device, which improves the experimental efficiency and provides a feasible experimental scheme for the study of thrust parameters in the case of complex plate coupling.
