Research on Information Interaction Interface Optimization Based on Cognitive Load

In order to improve the level of library information service and realize efficient and convenient information interaction, it is necessary to study the cognitive load of library users in the process of information retrieval, and propose an interface optimization design method based on cognitive load. The method combines the objective cognitive law with the subjective cognition of users to form a layout design principle, which is transformed into a computable multi-objective optimization function of interface layout. On this basis, a sparrow search algorithm is used to encode the objective function, seek the spatial optimal solution, and obtain the layout optimization scheme. In order to verify the effectiveness of the method in this paper, the home page of a university library information management platform is taken as an example to be optimized using the method, and the eye movement physiological measurement method is introduced into the evaluation process, and the usability test is carried out with the goal of measuring the size of eye movement load. The experimental results show that the optimized interface layout has a significant increase in usability indexes compared with the initial interface, which proves the effectiveness and practicality of the method. The optimization method of interactive interface based on the cognitive load theory can effectively reduce the cognitive load of the operator and improve the operation efficiency, which provides a reference for the design and optimization of library information interactive interface.
