Study on Vortex Optimization of Internal Flow Field for Control Valve
A flow channel model of the control valve was established. The internal flow field was numerically simulated by using CFD. The position and cause of the vortex in the internal flow field were analyzed. On this basis, the flow channels at the valve seat and valve outlet were optimized. The research shows that the vortex at the valve seat can be eliminated by changing the stepped type of the valve seat to an inclined type. The vortex at the valve outlet can be reduced by reducing the height of the upper wall surface and increasing the lower wall surface at the valve outlet.
