Data Analysis-based Overcharging Safety Warning Method of Lithium Battery for High Microgravity Levitation Experiment System
High Microgravity Level Research Rack (HMLR) is the core equipment for conducting microgravity scientific experiments in aerospace task, Lithium-ion battery pack is the main power supply unit for high microgravity levitation experiment system, and its safe and reliable operation is the key to guarantee the implementation of microgravity scientific experiments in space. Overcharging of lithium-ion batteries may reduce the performance and useful life of the batteries, leading to function failure and even unable work. In this paper, the historical data of lithium batteries for high microgravity levitation system is used to establish mathematical models of initial voltage and charging time, and the prediction of the charging time is used to assist the design of charging control instructions. Then Kalman filter and integrated weighting strategy are used to real-time estimate the remaining charging time in stages, realizing the overcharging safety warning of lithium battery. Experiments on real dataset show the effectiveness of the proposed method, reducing the risk of overcharging of lithium batteries.
