Modeling and Solution of Sustainable Aggregation Supply Chain Network
At present, sustainable supply chains are being implemented and extended in the operations of large number of manufacturing firms. It can be noted that such applications are mostly intended for the maximization of economic benefits, energy conservation and emissions reduction, resource use efficiency, by minimizing the harm done to the environment due to supply chain, and actually get economic profit, environmental benefits and social benefits at the same time. Nonetheless, among the current systems of sustainable supply chains, the constructed to order aggregated supply chains referring to the relative special features and specifications of distinct types of manufacturers have just started to develop. An aggregated supply chain involves the combination and synchronization of various sections of the supply chain involving inter alia sharing of information, deployment of resources as well as reorganization of processes to support the appropriate functioning and sustenance of supply chain and therefore enhancing its performance. This paper builds on the outcomes of the sustainable supply chain theory with an advantageous accumulating of these compressed supply chains to form a supply chain network of both the sustainable and efficient, and flexible systems. An evolutionary algorithm is also described for the efficient solution of SASCN model for sustainable aggregated supply chain network.
