Simulation analysis of new downhole casing valve opening detection device

To accurately monitor the opening of downhole flow control valves and deeply analyze the performance of flow control slides in complex downhole environments. According to the specific needs of downhole displacement sensors, a multi-stage stepped secondary coil winding structure based on inductive displacement sensors is adopted, which significantly enhances the induced electromotive force of the secondary coils. By establishing a structural model of an inductive displacement sensor and using advanced finite element analysis software, we performed a detailed simulation analysis of the model. The analysis results show that there is an approximate linear relationship between the output voltage signal of the sensor and the different valve openings. The use of a multi-segment stepped secondary coil structure significantly increases the sensitivity of the sensor. Based on the above research results, we have successfully realized the continuous measurement of the valve opening of the downhole casing, which provides staunch support for the accurate monitoring and regulation of the downhole flow control system.
