Nonlinear Control Strategy of Wind Turbine System Connected to the Grid
The integration of renewable energies into modern power grids poses a number of challenges, not least the control of wind turbines to ensure the stability and efficiency of power grids. This article presents three advanced control strategies for grid-connected wind turbines, based on nonlinear control, including backstepping, sliding mode and PI control. After describing system modeling, robust control methods are developed. The outcomes of the simulation show that the suggested tactics can keep the system stable even when wind and grid disturbances occur. This study emphasizes how crucial optimal management is to enhancing the integration of renewable energy sources.
