Exploring Privacy as a Success Factor in Information Systems Projects: a Position Paper
The privacy of data subjects processed in information systems has been the focus of concerns, debates, and regulations in the international context. However, there is a gap between scientific research in this area and its implementation in projects. This paper contextualizes success management and data protection practices. Despite the evolution of legislation applied to privacy, information systems project managers still fail to address this issue. Concerns about the privacy of data subjects should be a success factor in the management of information systems projects.
