Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Configuration Method for Wireless Networks
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly being used for many different domains from food delivery services and fireworks shows to war and military scenarios. UAVs can be used for different purposes and in different conditions. Therefore, it becomes important to standardize how UAV flights can be configured when they encounter different types of flight zones in 5G networks. In this paper, we propose a novel function: the UAV Location Restriction Mapper Function (ULRMF) that provides a method for communicating UAV flight configurations to the UAV and to assess UAV flight security violations and deviations.
