Einstein and Hamacher Product Operators to Electrostatic Edge Detection Approach

In this paper, an effective technique to perform edge detection by considering some other product operators in the electrostatic edge detection approach is presented. We study the electrostatic edge detection approach including the generalization of the Coulomb’s law of electrostatics in a 3 × 3 environment. We substitute the algebraic product operation in the calculation of the electrostatic forces by Einstein, Hamacher and hybrid product operators which we define. Some results are presented in this paper to support the potential of the approach.

Abstract

In this paper, an effective technique to perform edge detection by considering some other product operators in the electrostatic edge detection approach is presented. We study the electrostatic edge detection approach including the generalization of the Coulomb’s law of electrostatics in a 3 × 3 environment. We substitute the algebraic product operation in the calculation of the electrostatic forces by Einstein, Hamacher and hybrid product operators which we define. Some results are presented in this paper to support the potential of the approach.
