User Experience Analysis on Geek Academy Website as Job Training Institution Using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and Usability Testing Methods
LPK Geek Academy, established in 2022 and approved by the Ministry of Manpower (KEMNAKER), provides flexible online training to help the workforce acquire industry-aligned skills with digital certification. Therefore, Geek Academy's website was created to assist the workforce in gaining flexible online training, helping them develop skills with digital certification that align with industry requirements. This study evaluates the user experience (UX) and usability of the Geek Academy website to improve user satisfaction and the reputation of its training services. Conducted in November 2024 with 67 active users, the research employed the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to assess six UX dimensions: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Usability Testing was also used to evaluate functional aspects of the website. The analysis revealed low-quality ratings across all UX dimensions, ranking in the bottom 25% of the UEQ benchmark. However, usability testing showed that the website functioned adequately, allowing users to complete tasks. Overall, users had a negative perception of the website. Based on these findings, the study recommends improving the website's interface design, enhancing emotional appeal, and optimizing navigation to boost user satisfaction and service quality.
