Robust Stability Analysis of Uncertain 2-D Discrete Systems with Time-Varying Delays and Generalized Overflow Arithmetic
This study introduces an enhanced stability criterion for uncertain two-dimensional (2-D) discrete systems modeled under the Roesser framework, incorporating time-varying delays and generalized overflow arithmetic. The proposed method addresses systems with norm-bounded parametric uncertainties. By constructing an augmented Lyapunov functional, a delay-dependent stability condition is formulated using linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), yielding reduced conservatism compared to existing approaches. A numerical case study validates the effectiveness and improved performance of the proposed criterion.
