Design and Analysis of a Biocompatible Ultrasound Sensor for Medical Diagnosis
Below is the work connected with the development and design of a biocompatible diagnostic device with the basic element a spherical capsule of 1.2 cm in diameter that can operate as an autonomous vibrating system. A piezoelectric ring inside the capsule excites a low resonance frequency, while a network of high frequency sensors allows local scanning. Its hollow structure housed the integration of the active vibration element along with embedded electronics for encoding, control, and analysis. The diagnostic application may require the capsule to operate as a transmitter and receiver simultaneously when configured in a network. This could be a major advantage in medical diagnosis.
