Technology in Business Management: leveraging tools like Microsoft Excel to enhance corporate efficiency

This study explores the strategic use of Microsoft Excel as a management tool in contemporary business environments. Drawing on a qualitative literature review and empirical studies, the research highlights Excel's versatility in financial planning, operational control, and human resource management, particularly within small and medium-sized enterprises. Despite the proliferation of advanced business systems, Excel remains relevant due to its accessibility, adaptability, and broad functionality. The findings also reveal both the benefits and risks associated with Excel's widespread use, including its contribution to organizational agility and the persistent challenge of spreadsheet errors. The study concludes that Excel, when integrated with proper training and governance, plays a vital role in enhancing managerial efficiency and decision-making processes.
