Influence of water extract from pine trunk wood on functional indicators of animals’ state

Unbalanced nutrition of cattle can lead to disturbances in the metabolism of nutrients, which causes an increase in animal morbidity, a decrease in reproductive functions, and a reduction in the period of productive use of cows. The problem of keeping and caring for cattle during the period of stall and pasture maintenance is considered. The importance of periodic monitoring of the health of animals by studying the biochemical parameters of blood serum and compiling a balanced diet based on the collected data is noted. Laboratory studies using blood biochemistry methods help to determine the condition of the animal’s body, which is especially important in identifying deviations observed in the initial stages of the disease. The article considers the effect of aqueous extract from pine trunk wood (Pinus sylvestris ExtPine®) on the biochemical parameters of the blood of Holstein cows. The importance of regular monitoring of the health of animals by analyzing the biochemical parameters of blood is emphasized, which allows for timely diagnosis of metabolic disorders and adjustment of feeding. Laboratory studies have shown that the introduction of an aqueous extract into the diet improves physiological parameters and metabolic processes in cows, indicating its potential to increase the efficiency of animal husbandry.
