Risk zones for rabies infection in Africa and in the Republic of Guinea
Africa is one of the least studied continents in terms of the spread of rabies, the scarcity of material, the inefficient work of veterinary services and the growing threat of widespread spread of this disease makes it urgent to study this problem. Mapping the Republic of Guinea by administrative regions has made it possible to identify areas with the highest incidence of rabies in dogs, as well as visualization of the disadvantaged regions of Africa for rabies allows you to see the spatial distribution of rabies and their boundaries. The presented information on the territorial occurrence of rabies in Africa and the Republic of Guinea reflects the current epizootic situation in each of the administrative regions and forms a scientific basis for forecasting and monitoring the epizootic situation. Rabies-associated zones with maximum animal morbidity and poor settlements are classified as the territories with the highest risk of the occurrence and spread of this disease.
