Effect of feed additive with Chlorella sorokiniana on productivity indices in laying hens
The intensification of poultry farming is developing at a rapid pace. Currently, the most pressing issue is the search and use of various biologically active drugs that can stimulate the productivity of farm birds. The article presents the results of experimental studies of the use of the feed additive «Algobuster» based on the algae Chlorella sorokiniana in the diets of laying hens. The feed additive was fed at the rate of 1 l/t and 2 l/t of water. «Algobooster» contains living cells of Chlorella sorokiniana – 10–50 million cells./ml. The experiment was carried out on laying hens of the Loman Brown cross, 300 days old, for 75 days. Based on the experiment, it was established that a feed additive containing algae Chlorella sorokiniana helps to increase: egg productivity – by 4,7–9,5 %, gross egg harvest – by 6,1–11,2 %, egg mass – by 0,6–1,1 % and egg laying intensity – by 2,7–4,0 %. We recommend feeding the domestic biologically active drug «Algobooster», based on the planktonic eurybiont strain Chlorella sorokiniana AGT VKPM Al-29, to laying hens in doses of 1–2 l/t of water, according to the instructions for use of the drug.
