ErythRopoietin Hyporesponsiveness in Patients on Hemodialysis and Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a social and worldwide problem. Erythropoietin resistance is very common due to different reasons in patients with CKD, anemia on dialysis therapy. A prospective study was conducted evaluating the serum erythropoietin and ferritin levels in patients with CKD treated with dialysis within the scientific project №8/2024, funded by MU-Pleven. A total of 88 patients treated with hemodialysis and 12 patients treated with peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) were included.
