The role of biofeedback in the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports

In the context of the modern educational paradigm for training physical education teachers, biofeedback technologies function not only as a tool for monitoring physiological parameters but also as a means of forming adaptive motor patterns through sensorimotor integration. The application of algorithmic analysis of biofeedback signals in the educational process enables a personalized approach to motor skill development, ensuring precise correction of kinematic movement characteristics based on the real physiological state of the subject. This study analyzes the impact of biofeedback technologies on the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports. Biofeedback is considered an effective tool for optimizing motor activity, developing sensorimotor control, enhancing cognitive abilities, and improving motor learning. The use of biofeedback allows real-time feedback on key physiological parameters of the body, facilitating the refinement of motor patterns and injury prevention. An analysis of contemporary research confirms that integrating biofeedback technologies into educational programs ensures a deeper understanding of movement mechanics, the correction of technical errors, and the rational utilization of an athlete's energy resources. Special attention is given to sensorimotor control, which is critically important for future physical education teachers, as it enables effective adaptation of physical exercises to the individual characteristics of students. Cognitive-motor learning, which combines physical activity with cognitive tasks, is also examined as a method that stimulates brain neuroplasticity and improves cognitive endurance. Examples of exercises that enhance reaction speed, adaptability, attention concentration, and cognitive flexibility – key components of professional pedagogical training – are presented. The study emphasizes the prospects of using virtual and augmented reality technologies in the training process. These methods allow for the practice of motor skills in a controlled environment, contributing to improved movement accuracy, spatial orientation, and psychomotor coordination. The results of the study demonstrate that the application of biofeedback and cognitive-motor learning in the training of physical education teachers significantly enhances teaching quality, increases the level of professional competence, and promotes the development of effective training programs. Further research may focus on expanding the application of biofeedback technologies in sports rehabilitation, adaptive physical education, and professional sports.
