Features of combining aqua fit and spa treatments in body shaping programmes for women in the first period of adulthood
In today's rapidly developing health and beauty industry, the issue of body shaping is of particular relevance. This process is considered not only as an aesthetic practice, but also as an important component of disease prevention, improvement of the psycho-emotional state and quality of life. The article presents the developed programme of body shaping for women in the first period of adulthood based on a combination of aqua fit and spa treatments, where aqua fit, as a form of physical activity in conditions of reduced load on the musculoskeletal system, is a safe and effective means of physical correction, while spa treatments perform a restorative, relaxing and aesthetic function. The programme consists of three stages and lasts for 8 weeks with three sessions each. The programme is based on aqua fit exercises of various kinds (basic, coordination and strength exercises, distance swimming, hydro relaxation, etc.) and spa treatments (steam bath, scrubbing, various hot wraps, lymphatic drainage and relaxation massages, etc.). This comprehensive approach provides a multi-level effect on the body: it helps to reduce body weight, improve morphological and functional parameters, increase muscle tone and normalise the psycho-emotional state. Thus, the integration of these means into the structure of correctional programmes can be considered as a promising direction for improving the effectiveness of health improvement measures for mature women. Prospects for further research are to test the effectiveness of the developed body shaping programme for women in the first period of adulthood using aqua fit and spa treatments.
