Improving the level of physical fitness of cadets of tank units of the army

Changes in the military-political situation in the world due to Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine are leading to the transition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a NATO-standard training system. This, in turn, places new demands on the training of cadets. An officer, as the main figure in the support of tank troops' combat operations, must meet the requirements determined by the modern features of conducting a general combat. At the same time, the study of the educational process in military higher education institutions and military practice of involving security forces in combat missions during a full-scale war showed that the physical fitness of young tank officers has certain shortcomings. In the course of studying reviews of tank officer graduates, it was found that 30% of the reviews contain information about the insufficient level of physical fitness of young military officers. All of this indicates the urgency of finding new, more effective approaches to the development of physical qualities and military-applied skills in combat operations among tank cadets, as well as the performance of tasks in the course of military professional activities.
