Effectiveness of the application of fitness-yoga in sports
The hectic lifestyle of an athlete carries both physical and mental demands, which can lead to excessively high levels of stress and fatigue. Fitness-yoga provides a holistic approach to stress management and rehabilitation, combining various physical training postures with mental practice and relaxation. The practice of gentle stretching and a variety of restorative postures reduces muscle tension and promotes relaxation, and the practice of deep breathing along with meditation reduces stress and anxiety. Fitness-yoga can also improve an athlete’s recovery mechanism. Through the variety of postures and movements of fitness-yoga, which emphasize correct and safe positioning, correct and deep breathing, and mindful practice, athletes can avoid injuries and accelerate their recovery. Fitness-yoga emphasizes the great importance of breathing and being in the present moment. These aspects of fitness-yoga can be important for athletes to overcome stress, anxiety, and pressure along with faster recovery after intense training or competition. Through a combination of physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation techniques, athletes can access better body awareness, concentration and mental stability. This inner strength is necessary in high-stress situations, where it helps to stay calm, eliminate distractions and show the best athletic skills. During sports training, the practice of fitness-yoga can help improve flexibility, balance, strength and mental focus, which can contribute to better sports results. By including fitness-yoga in the training program, athletes will be able to reduce the risk of injuries and achieve better results in sports.
