Implementasi Sistem Monitoring dan Kontroling Otomatis Budidaya Udang Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) pada Kelompok Budidaya Tambak Udang Sadewa Farm

Shrimp farming holds high economic potential; however, manual pond management often faces challenges in maintaining water quality and efficient feeding practices. This study implements a web-based Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring and control system at Sadewa Farm Shrimp Cultivation Group to enhance pond management efficiency. Through real-time monitoring of water quality parameters such as temperature and pH, this system reduces dependency on manual methods, minimizes the risk of crop failure, and improves management accuracy. Through outreach and training, farmers' understanding of IoT increased from 40% in the pretest to 80% in the posttest, along with greater confidence in using this technology. These results demonstrate that IoT adoption has a positive impact on productivity, sustainability, and the readiness of farmers to embrace modern technology. Thus, IoT has substantial potential to support the sustainability and improvement of shrimp farming yields in Indonesia.
